At Discipleship Community Church we are committed to teaching God’s word verse-by-verse and to teaching theology in a way that everyone can understand.
Why? Because God said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB)
Discipleship Community Church meets every Sunday to worship and be armed with God’s Word to fulfill the missions that God has given us. The rest of the week, we are filled with joy to be living our lives together, meeting in our homes, stopping everything to meet each others’ needs, and going into the world together to serve in love and truth.
When and Where do we meet?
Sundays: Every Sunday we meet from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 at 922 John Marshall Highway in Front Royal, VA. Nursery is available during the service for children ages 4 and under. Children are welcome to join the adults for the entire service, but if they would benefit from a less restrictive environment and a sermon geared to their age group, Children’s Church is available for ages 5-10 after the time of worship through singing.
We also have an adult Bible study and children’s classes for ages 4 and up from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Nursery is available during class time for children ages 3 and under.
DCC’s Upper Room: In Acts 2 we see the disciples of Christ gathering together in the upper room praying and fasting to our Lord. This is exactly what we want to do every week as a body of Christ. We want to come together to pray, fast and read over scripture. It’s a time set aside to pray for Israel, world events, our leaders, other churches, our missionaries, the lost, and our families. This list is not exhaustive in nature, because we have many things upon our hearts that God desires we bring to Him. The Lord says in Mark 11:17 that His house is a house of prayer, and we want to spend as much time as we can doing just that: praying! There are many battles going on in this world and there is no better time for us to start spending more time meditating over Scripture and praying. So please join us as we gather together at the church building to pray to our Lord on Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Small Group Studies: Our men’s, women’s, and youth community groups meet every Wednesday at the church building for Bible study from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Nursery is available. See our Community Groups page for more information.
